My 2023 in Music
The songs on this list aren’t remotely autobiographical; they just stuck with me throughout the year. They’re a little louder and dancier than recent annual playlists, but I can hear personal consistency with notes in this that trace back to the Alanis Morrisette, Garbage, and Republica of my teenage years. And there are some cover songs; I’ve always loved a good cover song.
